Traders Desks
Theses images are of traders desks for firms at the TSE. The last photo is of a single user station that we developed for Wood Gundy circa 1990. The others are of a multi-user station for Alfred Bunting & Company. The company later became Bunting Warbug and I’m not sure it exists today, such is the transient nature of the commercial world.
The old world charm of that shop never left me, and when I set up my own studio I put in wooden floors as well. It’s a bit ironic that such an antiquated looking shop was producing such modern work for such a high tech industry. But then as now, the quality of craftsmanship is in the craftsman, not the facilities.
